REVIEW : Organic Harvest Sunscreen with SPF 60 PA+++ UVA UVB protection

Hey lovely people!

Of late, my Instagram feed has been full of reviews of the Organic Harvest Sunscreen which made me want to try it badly! Fortunately, June Fab Bag (click here to know more) has included the sunscreen and here’s my review of the same after using it for a while.

(The brand has 5 variants of sunscreen. The one being reviewed here is with SPF 60 and suitable for all skintypes. There’s also SPF 30 & 50 variants and something specific for oily skin too)

ABOUT THE BRAND ORGANIC HARVEST

LOOK & FEEL

The sunscreen is white in color, has a creamy texture and the fragrance is reminiscent of water color! It is gentle and slightly artificial but no where near sweet. The finish is not fully matte but blends well doesn’t leave behind any white cast .

HOW TO USE?

Apply a generous amount of the sunscreen all over the face, neck and exposed areas of the skin 20 minutes prior to sun exposure

MY EXPERIENCE : Organic Harvest Sunscreen comes in an opaque tube like packaging.

The sunscreen is way too lightweight on skin despite having an SPF rating of 60! Usually the higher the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) the thicker the cream is but the brand has managed to strike a middle ground here. One of the claims that attracted me in particular is the BLUE LIGHT TECHNOLOGY – the sunscreen provides protection not just against UV rays but also from the blue light emanating from our devices like phone screen, laptop, etc

Although the sunscreen claims to be suitable for all skin types, I still find it a little heavy to be used on face for oily skin type. It does cause some sweating /greasy feeling especially in humid climate (I believe the dedicated variant for oily ache prone skin will solve this issue) That said, the sunscreen definitely doubles up as a good moisturizer for normal to dry skin too.

I am also glad that the ingredient list has certified organic ones in it which truly justifies the price tag of ₹475/- for 100gm. It is easily available online, safe to use on skin and does deliver what it claims.

Overall, you may give it a shot especially if you need some heavy duty sunscreen on a daily basis that doesn’t feel heavy on skin !

It’s a 4/5 ♥️
