PACKAGING, FINISH, FRAGRANCE
The package is reminiscent of test tubes with an opaque body indicating the shade and the signature minty green cap with a whiteborder. The cap shuts tightly making the lip cream travel friendly too. There’s shade indication at the bottom of the body as well on the outer white covering in which the lip cream is packed.
The wand is pretty narrow thereby reaching even the inner corners of the lips and gives an even finish . It has a small opening in the middle as well.
The formula is creamy (Just like the claim) and pretty opaque too. The lip cream barely has any fragrance or taste to it which will bother sensitive noses and taste buds.
MY EXPERIENCE : The shade Nostalgic Rose is beautiful light mauve mude which is perfect for everyday use be it workplace or college.
Contradictory to what I expected, the lip cream does feel super light on lips after wearing and you’ll hardly feel like having anything on the lips. Now this would also mean that a shade as light as Nostalgic Rose would not survive a meal and vanish with grace from your lips after about 3 hours. It diwane settle into the lip cracks however the staying power wasn’t that impressive for this particular shade (I wish I’d gone with a darker shade like Naughty Magenta ). That said, i am super happy with thr lightweight formula which gets dried down into a transfer proof matte within like 30 minutes of application without drying the lips like a normal liquid lipstick.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend you people checking out the lip cream by Disguise Cosmetics. It does stand true to it’s claims. Apart from the expensive price tag of ₹700/- , there’s nothing that willl stop me from grabbing a couple of more shades from this range.
