[REVIEW] Natural products by Nature’s Butter by Shree – skincare & HAIRCARE | Leotales Blog

Nature’s butter by Shree Vitamin C Revie Hey lovely people! Hope you all are doing good. In this blog post, we will be reviewing three products by the brand Nature’s Butter by Shree.

I discovered the brand during my quest for #vocalforlocal on Instagram. It is one among those completely handmade, made in India brands owned by women entrepreneurs Jayshree Vaswani and Javnika Shah . Started in March 2018, Nature’s Butter started with alovera and papaya gels and face glow serum first slowly launched hair kit, facewash, serums, etc. Now They have a range of products for skin and hair and recently, ventured into base makeup as well. What attracted me towards the brand is the absence of any sort of marketing gimmicks, and thr formulations which are free of parabens, silicones, sulphates, Mineral oils etc which can potentially harm skin and hair

✔️Key Ingredient benefits :

Red wine : The antioxidants in rich red wine fight free radicals giving healthy and shiny hair. It is also known to rejuvenate and repairs damaged hair. Red wine also inhibits hair loss and reduces dandruff by promoting blood circulation in the scalp

Coenzyme Q10 : anti-aging properties for hair. It stimulates the gene expression of different hair keratins, especially those which are reduced during aging processes in hair follicles

Grape seed powder : it holds moisture and rich in vitamin E

Silk amino protein : high levels of serine which has excellent moisture preservation characteristics.

Nettle : Nettle leaves are rich in silica and sulphur. This helps in making hair shinier and healthier

Keratin protein : smoothens dry and damaged hair making hair appear glossy

✔️ My experience : This is mu second tub actually, I had used one back in 2018. The impressive list of ingredients is what attracted me towards this mask. Having dry, lifeless and frizzy hair, masks have always benefitted my hair and this one is no different. It is not a mask that will work wonders overnight but with regular use, I experience reduced frizz. I use it once a week and the quantity is sufficient for 5-6 uses for my bra – line hair length.

I would definitely recommend this mask for all hair types, especially if you have scalp infections – because this is one of those masks that you would actually apply on and massage the scalp. I sometimes put on a shower cap after massage and leave it on for a few more minutes before washing off. It won’t leave your hair smelling amazing or anything but definitely adds moisture and controls frizz.

It is a moisturizer for all skin types, but I believe it is particularly suitable for oily skin too. The highlight of this product is Vitamin C – a potent antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals. vitamin C aids in your skin’s natural regeneration process, which helps your body repair damaged skin cells

✔️ Price : ₹600 for 100gm

✔️ Shelf life : 18 months from the date of manufacturing.

✔️ Fragrance & texture : Creamy color with a gel-lotion consistency and the fragrance is citrus. A little strong but wears off after application.

✔️ Ingredients & benefits

Acai berry : rich in antioxidants! acai berries also boast powerful anti-aging vitamin A to boost cell turnover and brightening vitamin C to rev up collagen production for that firm, glowing complexion

Tesu ki phool : works on improving complexion

Licorice :Applying Liquorice in topical form can help bring your skin to a smooth, lighter tone thanks to the Glabridin that stops the skin from darkening after sun exposure.

Emogreen : range of liquid emollients, readily biodegradable, from vegetable origin (non GMO) that offers an alternative to silicone oils

✔️ My experience : I use it as my main moisturizer for face daily once. I like the formula because it won’t sweat me out even in humid climate. Also, vitamin C serums break me out whereas this gel does not. So it’s like my quick fix for vitamin C for my acne prone, sensitive skin. The 100gm quantity will last for a while but you need to be extra cautious to dip only a clean and dry finger into the tub otherwise, you’ll end up ruining it.

This is a ready to use mask for all skintypes.

✔️ Price :₹450 for 75 gms

✔️ Shelf life : best before 18 months from the date of manufacturing.

✔️ Fragrance and texture : the mask is creamy, has a cement – like color and a typical clayey fragrance.

✔️ Usage instructions

✔️ Key ingredients & benefits

Dead Sea mud : Layers of silt deposits have washed down from surrounding mountains onto the shores of the Dead Sea (a salt lake in Asia) over thousands of years forming a rich black mud. This mud has a unique composition of high concentrations of skin-nourishing minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium, bromide, zinc, and iron. As the mud dries on your skin, it absorbs toxins, dirt, dead skin cells, and excess oils. Not only will your skin look better, but it will also feel extremely soft and clean. The mud clears out pores and absorbs excess sebum which causes acne. It has also been shown to have antibacterial properties. It provides anti-aging benefits by tightening and toning skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and shrinking pores.

Soybean : soy has been shown to even the texture of the skin. The collagen-boosting power of soy helps smooth lines, keep pores clear and reduce puffiness. Soy contains Lecithin which is known to hydrate and repair the surface of the skin, due to its fatty acid content.

Pentavitin : 100% naturally derived plant extract that’s bursting with hydrating properties, and gives improved skin protection against dehydration and sensitivity with every use.

Castor oil :Castor oil contains antioxidants that fight free radicals. It can also keep acne at bay as it has anti bacterial properties.

Iscaguard : It is a combination of Phenoxyethanol Triethylene glycol. It is often considered as a safer alternative to preservatives containing parabens

✔️My experience : Having oily skin, clay masks have always been my choice

However most masks tend to dry out my skin within minutes of application, they get dried up quickly and start to crumble while on face itself. The dead Sea mask however did not dry out my skin. Within 15 minutes of application, i would wash it off and my skin feels instantly fresh. I would follow up with the Vitamin C face gel as moisturizer just in case my cheeks dry out. Overall, this is one of those masks that can act as a quick fix for full skin, a 11th hour solution just before heading out for an impromptu party!

As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, I have used several products by Nature’s Butter by Shree and none of them have disappointed me. My mother’s all time favorite is their argan oil hair serum and she’s already asking me to get a second bottle for her.
